Leon Elias Malachi is a fifth generation descendant of the Children of the Nephilim from Earth-1834, on assignment to the Arcanum Investigation Team. A certified genealogist with a growing level of magic understanding, Leon's magical skill is juxtaposed with the raw magical nature of his blood which is often used in his spell casting.
Birth and Early Life
Leon is the fourth born and only male of the fifth generation of the Malachi family, proud descendants claiming to originate from the bloodline of the Archangel Michael. He spent his early years in care of the Nurture Group within the Children of the Nephilim community as with all new born descendants before undergoing his baptism and enchantment at the age of five. The remainder of his childhood was spent being familiarized with his heritage and magic capabilities, along with being assessed for how best he could contribute to his community - on a local and global level.
Education and Work Assignment
By his sixteenth birthday, Leon's affinity for organization led to his allocation towards a career in genealogy. In reality, it was merely an assignment generated and calculated purely by an over abundance of medical professionals, as the Children were famously known for, and a match to an otherwise unremarkable but gifted descendant. Thankfully, academia came easily to Leon as did the city life, something he acclimated to exceptionally well unlike some Children. Graduating from University at the age of twenty, along with helping to bred two descendants, Leon went on to fulfill his work role as a certified genealogist for the City of Salt Lake. He continued his work there for an additional six years, along with magic instruction from fellow Elders and fostering four more descendants, before being requested by a Mr. Heinrich Stratton to meet.
The Investigation of Imminent Threat
Invitations sent by Heinrich Stratton were answered by Leon, Kord Von Einzberg, Gwendoline Harding, and Isobel Buchanan. After a brief test of their skill and ability, Heinrich explained that they were hand-selected by the Arcanum to investigate a threat detected within the Nexus. The Nexus forms a crucial axis point between other worlds and a threat detected within it has the potential to spread across the entire Multiverse. To that end, their group was selected to investigate and report back.
Departing from Zbraslav Chateau in the Czech Republic by way of Zeppelin, the group travelled to Warsaw, Poland for their entry into the Nexus.
Other Information
- Leon is the father of six children though he has little contact with them or their mothers as per custom and tradition with the breeding and raising of new Children of the Nephilim generations. He also has ten sisters.
- As with all Children of the Nephilim, Leon was enchanted via baptism at birth with empathy. Any physical contact provides a full one-way reading of emotions and physical sensation.
