Galen Lord is an Initiate at the ? training facility and current candidate for the Order.
Early Life
As with almost all in the Lord bloodline, Galen Lord was born to be a member of the Order. The scion of a family noted for producing near precise matches to the genetic compatibility test, Galen was no different. Already the son of a younger paramour turned second wife, with the Lord patriarch already looking for the future third, and raised predominantly in boarding schools, the family was inclined towards gaining a return on their investment.
The psychological evaluations, like genetic compatibility, were passed with similar ease thanks to years of grooming and coaching. Any concerns were well addressed and buried long before, the Lord prestige and wealth expecting no other outcome. With a Geolink recording of goodbye, Galen's guardianship was given to the Consortium the day before his sixteenth birthday.
As an Initiate
Galen, like his family's predecessors, took naturally to the initial training. His scores in academia to strategy to marksmanship were all excellent, but unlike most Lord's he showed no outward signs of any particular proficiency. A jack-of-all-trades, master of none his Instructors assessed. As Galen progressed and matured to a proper age for combat training and received the first injection of the Compound, the infamous brutality of the Lord lineage came to notice. This was highlighted in his initial selection for a melee and distance weapon, with each lacking any degree of finesse in exchange for intimidation and raw power. Psychologists and Instructors will continue to watch this closely for any signs of bent up, destructive aggression (see Mercer Lord file).
While Galen is meeting the standards for training, his lack of any remarkable traits poses concern for future selection in the Order, especially the Upper House. More social engineering, constructed and natural as he moves into the teamwork exercises of training, will be administrated to see if this can be altered. The development of a unique Compound capability (see attached C36 specialization file) adds potential as well as additional concern in moving forward. Powers and Skills
Galen is an Initiate of the Order and has only received the first injection of Compound 36, requiring two additional doses to make the enhancements permanent. However, with the first dosage he has the normal complement of abilities granted by the compound:

Like all members of the Order, he can further activate the inert Compound 36 in his body to augment the aforementioned abilities even further. There is great risk involved in doing so, as pushing beyond an acceptable limit aggravates any side-effects of the Compound, increases the possibility of addiction, and the risk of becoming an Aberration.
Despite being an Initiate, Galen has shown aptitude for a specialized Compound 36 capability likely due to his family's uncanny genetic compatibility. Through activation and intense focus, along with varying degrees of discomfort and pain, Galen is able to alter his physical form within basic humanoid limits. 'Shifting' of basic facial features, to include eye and hair pigmentation, have been recorded. A notable side effect from activation of this specialized talent is a slow down in healing capabilities, further tests are being conducted to assess. Instructors note that this ability is still in its infancy but developing quickly as the Initiate's control and familiarity with C36 use matures.
