- Calvin, by past and profession, is known by a number of pseudonyms. Frequently used in these is Sebastian, which is his middle name.
- Original Calvin's powers were severely restricted due to the danger from genetic abnormalities and lack of control. The clone has no such impediment, however, still suffers from power fluctuations as a result of genetic instability.
- He is fluent in French from childhood and Russian from Academy classes.
